The line graph analyses the changes pattern of domestic access to modern technology in homes in UK.The graph shows the percentages of the uses of CD player,mobile phone,home computer and internet access in in year 1996 to 2003.
Obviously,CD player has remained as the most popular device in UK which rising gradually from 60% in year 1996/97 to about 83% in 2002/03. Instead,the least popular one was internet access.It had been available since 1998 with 10% of users and then kept expanding to nearly 50% in year 2002/03.
Another change that could be seen was mobile phone ownership.In 1996/97,mobile phone is the least popular device at that time.However, it increase dramatically and fluctuated, finally ended up at 70% in 2002/03.Eventhough it increased rapidly, home computer overtook as the second most popular device.
It is noticable that the percentage terms of CD player is higher than mobile phone, home computer and internet access because CD player has no limits and available almost everywhere.
